Delete Your Account
How to permanently delete your Ocean English account and data.
You can permanently delete your Ocean English account at any time. When you delete your account, your personal data is removed as described below. This page explains how to do it in the app and how to request deletion if you can’t access the app.
Option 1 — Delete in the App
- Open the Ocean English app and sign in to your account.
- Go to Settings → Account.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm the deletion when prompted.
Once confirmed, your account and associated personal data are scheduled for permanent deletion.
Option 2 — Request Deletion by Email
If you can’t access the app, email us from your registered email with the subject “Delete my account” and we’ll process your request.

We will permanently delete your account, profile, progress, messages, and uploaded files within 30 days. Data required by law (e.g. billing records) may be retained as legally required.
What Gets Deleted
When your account is deleted, we remove your personal data, including:
- Your account and profile (name, email, and password);
- Your progress data;
- Your messages;
- Uploaded files and content you created in the app.
We complete deletion within 30 days. Data required by law (e.g. billing records) may be retained as legally required. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Subscriptions
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a paid subscription billed through the App Store. To cancel billing, open Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your device and cancel the Ocean English plan.
